Runoff is defined as the flow of water over the land surface due to storm rainfall, after meeting initial and infiltration losses. This paper gives a basic view on how to calculate runoff by using SCS CN Curve method for a given precipitation values. So that the runoff for a particular precipitation is obtained. The main intention of SCS CN Curve method is to estimate runoff volume for any given land area. There are several methods for calculating runoff, but this method is useful because of small agriculture area in Rajam
