📋 Abstract

Abstract: Online coding tool is a web-based programming exercise system designed for introductory programming courses.
Using Online coding tool, instructors can assign practice problems to reinforce concepts and assess mastery of skills.
Students access their assigned problems using a web browser. This tool make the students to write a function or
complete program to perform a simple task such as classifying input or performing a computation on input data.
When the solution has been submitted, the tool tests their code against a series of test cases designed by the instructor
and reports which tests executed correctly.

📋 Abstract

Abstract: Treadmill cycle has runs perfectly on human effort and batteries with dc motor. As the rider walks on the
treadmill belt, the belt indirectly rotates the rear wheel propelling the bicycle forward with the help of gear change
mechanism. The purpose of this project was to design and develop a human manual treadmill cycle. A sprocket
mechanism with gear box and additional components are used to run the treadmill cycle without external sources. For
having better balance while riding we are using two supporting wheels fixed near the rear wheel. It is believed that
treadmill bicycle will also be the ideal device for healthy runners. It delivers an exercise experience that is closer to
running that anything else available today.

📋 Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research study is to investigate the optimal process parameters of Electric Discharge
Machining on Inconel 625 Nickel super alloy material with aluminum as a tool electrode. The effect of various
process parameters on machining performance is investigated in this study. The input parameters considered are
current; pulse on time and pulse off time are used for experimental work and their effect on Material Removal Rate,
Tool Wear Rate and Surface Roughness. The Taguchi method is used to formulate the experimental layout, ANOVA
method is used to analysis the effect of input process parameters on the machining characteristics and find the
optimal process parameters of Electric Discharge Machining. The results of the present work reveal that proper
selection of input parameters will play a significant role in Electric Discharge Machining.

📋 Abstract

Abstract: Super heaters are among the most important components of boiler and have major importance due to this
operation in high temperature and pressure. Fins on the super heater tubes plays a vital role to increase the heat
transfer rate. A small unit of improvement in the design of the fins in the super heater gives a large value of positive
impact on the performance of super heater in the steam generation system. The core concept of the project is to
redesigning the circular shaped fin which is existing in the former super heater tubes to rectangular cross- section
helical shaped fin , in order to increase the heat transfer rate (Q) with less fuel (coal) consumption due to increasing
the total surface area of the conducting material and as fins. Such redesign is aimed at minimal change in weight and
cost of super heater, with maximum positive impact on the overall efficient in the steam power generation.
The material used for the fins in our project is SA106GrA which is having a thermal conductivity of 51 w/m k
and good thermal properties which are required to increase heat transfer rate. The parametric model is created in 3D
modeling software AUTOCAD and the results are calculated by using mathematical methods (Heat transfer
Methodology).

📋 Abstract

Abstract: The vapor compression cycle is used in most house hold refrigeration as well as in many large Commercial
and Industrial refrigeration systems. The main components in this system are compressor, condenser, evaporator and
expansion valve. It uses a circulating liquid refrigerant as medium which absorbs and removes the heat from the
space to be cooled and subsequently rejects the heat to atmosphere. When the use of R134a in Vapor Compression
Refrigeration systems, it causes has high Global Warming Potential to Ozone layer. In this work to overcome above
difficulties and to enhance the performance, the existed vapour compression refrigeration system is modified and
replaced the new refrigerant instead of R134a and different quality tests are conducted to fix leakages then after
completion of fabrication, the experiments are to be conducted at load and unload conditions and COP has been
calculated and compared. Finally overall performance has proved that the R600a refrigerant has high COP than the
R134a.

Abstract: Unmanned Underwater Vehicles have picked up notoriety for the most recent decades, particularly with
the end goal of not gambling human life in perilous activities. Then again, submerged condition presents various
difficulties in control, route and correspondence of such vehicles. Submerged robots assume a vital job in the seaward
oil and gas industry, the barrier part, sea inquiry and salvage, oceanographic explore, submerged prehistoric studies
and natural observing. Huge numbers of these applications are led with remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) that are
fastened to and controlled from a surface vessel yet likewise with the pattern in earthbound and airborne robots, selfruling task is of expanding significance. This article aims to provide details of the technologies, navigation, control,
sensing, survey and applications of underwater robots.

📋 Abstract

Abstract: In this era of modern civilization, liquid fuel transport is mandatory around the world. But there has been
several oil spilling accidents around the world and their negative effects are against all the living elements. The
environmental effects of such oil spills are not negligible as this is a global problem now days. So there is need of an
effective way to clean this oil from the surface without actually wasting it. This paper represents the project work
carried on fabrication and analysis of belt type oil skimmer. We have developed a compact mechanism for collection
of oil from water with the help of belt in minimum period of time. Collected oil can be reused for many purposes. This
oil skimmer is invented because of low cost, high compatibility, and for rough usage. This set up uses the DC motor,
fiberand fabric belt, pulley, supporting frame, scraping blade. We have made changes in the existing machine to make
its application easier at reduced cost. Our main aim is to reduce cost and control pollution, attained through this
Project work. Now, in industries, to separate oil from other things like coolant and water, we use oil skimmers.
There are various methods for this, of which belt type oil skimmer is one of the majorly used. After fabrication of
such oil skimmer, the performance is evaluated on the basis of oil recovered from the oil-water mixture and recovery
rate for different types of oils.

📋 Abstract

Abstract: This project describes the information about fabrication of a simple mechanical rotational scissor lift. Conventionally
a scissor lift or jack is used for lifting heavy loads with less effort mainly in industries or any other fields where loads
are lifted. It can be of mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic type. The matter described in the paper is developed
keeping in mind that the lift can be operated by mechanical means so that effort required to operate is less for lifting
more weight. Also such design can make the lift more compact and much suitable for medium scale work. In our
project we added a feature of rotating the Scissor lift top table. This paper also gives information on how scissor lift
works with different means (ex-mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic), basic information about worm, rack and
pinion, types of lifts, advantages of the scissor lift, different types of gears, gear nomenclature ,threads and scissor
arms.

Abstract: An axle is a central shaft for a rotating wheel. On wheeled vehicles, the axle may be fixed to the wheels, rotating
with them, or fixed to its surroundings, with the wheels rotating around the axle. The axles serve to transmit driving
torque to the wheel, as well as to maintain the position of the wheels relative to each other and to the vehicle body. The
axles in a system must also bear the weight of the vehicle plus any cargo. The rear axle beam is one of the major parts of
vehicle suspension system. It houses the whole back load assembly. About 35 to 65 percent of the total vehicle weight are
taken up by the rear axle.
Hence proper design of the rear axle beam is extremely crucial. In present research work design of the rear axle
of heavy commercial vehicle were done. The approach in this project has been divided into two steps. In the first step,
rear axle will be designed in CREO software later the model is imported into ANSYS for results. In the second step, the
model is assigned with four different materials and the analysis results for the materials are compared to conclude a
suitable material for a rear axle manufacturing.

Abstract: The chassis frame is the back bone of the vehicle, It's principle function is to safely carry the maximum load for all
designed operating conditions. Automotive chassis is the main carriage system of vehicle. The chassis serves as a
skeleton upon which parts like gear box and engine are mounted. The two wheeler chassis consists of a frame,
Suspension, Wheels and Brakes .The chassis what truly sets the overall style of the two wheeler. Commonly used
material for two wheeler chassis is steel which is heavy in weight or more accurately in density. There are various
alternative materials like aluminium alloy, Titanium, Carbon fiber, magnesium etc., which are lesser in weight and
provide high strength and thus can be used for chassis. This paper deals with design of two wheelers chassis frame
and it's weight optimization .Various loading conditions like static and dynamic loadings were carried out on the
chassis and the structural stability of the chassis is analyzed by using alternative material while maintaining the
strength. The 3D model of the chassis is created using solid works and it's structural behaviour is analysed using
ANSYS work bench.

📋 Abstract

Abstract: In this paper, dynamic analysis of a sport utility vehicle chassis frame has been done using Ansys.
Firstly CAE, (Computer Aided Engineering) is widely used in automotive and aerospace structural analysis. The
results obtained from the simulations describe the reality with accuracy and cost effective. In this project a
conceptual model of chassis of a Sport Utility vehicle will be designed in CATIA based on its body and will be used
in ANSYS for stress-strain analysis, compression testing , equivalent stress and strain . The vehicle’s passenger
cabin vibrations also analyzed using the same. The crash involvement and behaviour of Sports Utility Vehicles
(SUV) was analysed. Also comparisons were made with actual numbers of the car fleet of the vehicles types, so
that exposure rates can be included. Accidents of vehicles in the above-described categories will also be compared
with each other.

📋 Abstract

Abstract: several thousands of people die day to day due to the time lag taken by the Ambulance service to reach the
accident spot. This happens due to traffic jam, congestion in the city.
A prototype of an emergency flying air ambulance (or) an ambulance drone which can reach the fatal cases faster
than a normal ambulance which saves time is designed and it also measures the different health parameters using its
measuring devices. When a phone call is given to the emergency number, the emergency operator tracks the location
and navigate using global positioning system (GPS). The ambulance drone enters the scene in the instant time and
real time commands are provided by the operator. The drone consist of a mini patient monitoring system which
comprises of variant sensors which can be conveniently attached to the victim body and the important parameters is
measured and it is immediately sent to the ambulance as well as to the nearby hospital using global positioning system
and ZIGBEE. The particular result helps the paramedics as well as the doctors to evaluate the situation quicker with
better diagnostic and therapeutic choices. Therefore, the goal is to develop an all-purpose medical tool kit that can be
flawn to any crisis situation and it is used to give the actual time situation results to the ambulance and the hospital
team so that they will be ready to serve to the needs of the patients. This prototype helps to support the routine
ambulance rather than replacing the normal ambulance.
