Nanotechnology is one of the latest investigation fields that have become popular worldwide in the past few years ago. These modern days, there is effecting in rising concern of using nano-particles in cement mortar to improve the mechanical and durability properties. This important ingredient of large surface area of nano-particle leads to move more chemical relations at the interface, which results in improved properties in cement mortar. During the function; this ingredient nano-particle ZrO2 on compressive strength and durability properties in cement mortar is taken as < 100 nm i.e. practical purpose of size is taken average 50-60 nm. The major intention of this investigation is to get ready a blended mortar with enhanced mechanical properties. The results of nano particle on the mechanical behaviour such as compressive strength and durability of mortar were experimentally investigated properly. The blended cement used in this constituent which consists of Portland Pozzolana cement (PPC) and nano particles zirconium oxide (ZrO2) The cement was moderately substituted by nano - ZrO2 of 1%, 1.5% and 2 % respectively by weight of cement. The mortar was prepared using cement-sand ratio of 1:3 by weight with water-binder ratio of 0.35. The compressive strength of cement mortar was obtained at 7, 14 and 28 days and conduct durability test of cement mortar by mix of used 10% concentrated sodium chloride (NaCl) solution up to exceed the 2% weight loss of water.
