The present study aims at biosynthesis of MgO4 nanoparticles using earthworm based extracts. The MgO4 NPs being synthesized successfully using seven earthworm based extracts like Eudrilus vermiwash, Eisenia vermiwash, Eudrilus crushed extract, Eisenia crushed extract, Eudrilus warm water extract, Eisenia warm water extract and cow dung extract. The synthesized MgO4 nanoparticles were characterized by UV-Visible spectroscopy; Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy (FTIR): X-ray Diffraction (XRD): Scanning electron microscopy (SEM): Energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDAX) and Transmission electron microscope (TEM). The characterization study reveals that the better production of MgO4 NPs was achieved in Eisenia vermiwash extract with the crystalline structure of Rhombohedral and with 12.90 nm in size under XRD; spherical particles with 4±0.24 nm size under SEM and 10±0.73nm under TEM. In order to evaluate the bioefficacy of MgO4 NPs, an In-vitro seed germination study was conducted and the results reveal that the better seed vigour was exhibited with MgO4 NPs at the concentration range from 100- 500 mgL-1
